The Green Bay Packers have played in the postseason each year since 2009 and this season should be no different. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers missed seven games in 2013 due to injury and they still finished atop the NFC North. With a relatively healthy 2015 squad, they should have no problem keeping their playoff streak alive.

Rodgers will already be without big time wideout Jordy Nelson who is sidelined due to injury until the 2016 season. This talented offense won’t miss a beat as Randall Cobb, Davante Adams and James Jones are there to haul in Rodgers’ passes. In the backfield, Eddie Lacy is healthy and in the prime of his career adding yet another playmaker to this talented offense. Possibly the biggest offseason story for Green Bay is that head coach Mike McCarthy has given up the offensive play calling duties to focus more on special teams and defense. It will interesting to see if and how long this lasts.

The Packers defense ranked seventh in the NFL over the last eight games of the 2014 season driven by Clay Matthews change to inside linebacker on early downs, and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix’s emergence as a starter. If Green Bay’s defensive unit can keep on keeping on over the 2015 season and continue to improve, this team could be a legitimate contender for the big dance.

In the NFC North, the Packers’ competition is not what it has been in years past The Lion’s defense has declined since last season, the Vikings are still in a rebuilding phase and the Chicago Bears are basically a mess. This division is the Packers to lose and with the talented playmakers they currently have, should have no problem emerging on top of the NFC North. Green Bay fans are passionate and some of the best in the NFL, so be sure to purchase your Green Bay Packers tickets for this season and catch all the on-field action live and in person.
